CarlosKlay was founded by Dilrukshi Narangoda<\/strong>, an entrepreneur whose journey has been shaped by determination, resilience, and an unwavering desire to make a meaningful difference.<\/p>

After completing her school education, Dilrukshi began her career in a semi-government organization. Although grateful for the opportunity, she knew her true calling lay elsewhere. She dreamed of becoming an entrepreneur\u2014not only to build a successful business but also to create opportunities for others.<\/p>

Believing in the growing potential of Sri Lanka's tourism industry, she invested in her education by studying tourism through the Open University of Sri Lanka and the University of Colombo while gaining practical experience as a Front Office Manager at a tourist hotel.<\/p>

With the constant encouragement and partnership of her husband, she founded The Saffron<\/strong>, a boutique hotel in Colombo. Together, they expanded their vision into four boutique hotels across some of Sri Lanka's most popular tourist destinations.<\/p>

Like many businesses, the Easter Sunday attacks and the COVID-19 pandemic brought unexpected challenges. Yet those difficult years became a turning point.<\/p>

During the pandemic, Dilrukshi discovered new creative passions through knitting, crafting, and handmade design. She later launched her clothing store, Cotton Cottage<\/strong>, while continuing to expand her knowledge in natural product development.<\/p>

Driven by her love for nature and sustainable living, she earned professional qualifications in Herbal Beauty Product Manufacturing, Drug Manufacturing, and Food Dehydration Technology. These experiences inspired a larger vision\u2014a brand that combines creativity, craftsmanship, wellness, and social impact.<\/p>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

The idea for CarlosKlay dates back to 2015, while operating boutique hotels. Finding hotel amenities that reflected the quality and aesthetic she envisioned for her guests was a challenge. Instead of compromising, Dilrukshi decided to develop products for her own hotels and eventually began supplying carefully crafted amenities to other hospitality businesses.<\/p>\n

That passion for creating beautiful, high-quality products laid the foundation for CarlosKlay. Today, the brand has evolved into a curated collection of Sri Lankan lifestyle products designed for customers around the world.<\/p>\n
